    Korea

The trail leads across the Pacific to a Korean shipping magnate, Dae-jong Kang, who has recovered the lost virus and means to use it - framing others while driving the Americans from the peninsula to reunify Korea under his hand.

  3. 3

Kang's scheme converges on Los Angeles, where the virus is to be loosed on the wind over a vast crowd. The Pitts race across land and sea for a desperate last stand to stop the plague before it can spread across the nation.
