Journeys from fiction drawn on the real world

Wim Wenders · 1984 · road

Wim Wenders's 1984 film. A man named Travis walks out of the Texas desert after four years missing, mute and lost, and is collected by his brother. Slowly returning to life, he sets out with his young son on a road trip across the American Southwest to Houston to find the boy's mother - a journey through the vast, neon-lit landscape toward a reckoning with the family he abandoned.
