A spy spoof that beat Dr. No to the screen, it sends Hope and Crosby from Calcutta to a Tibetan monastery and on to Hong Kong, where a SPECTRE-like outfit launches them into outer space as accidental astronauts.

   Calcutta

   Con men Harry and Chester hawk a do-it-yourself interplanetary flight kit in Calcutta, until a mishap leaves Chester with amnesia.

   Tibet

   An Indian doctor sends them to a Tibetan lamasery, where the monks cure Chester and a rare tea leaf grants him perfect photographic memory.

   Calcutta

   Back in Calcutta he unknowingly memorizes a stolen Russian rocket formula, and a glamorous spy lures the pair onward with the promise of cash.

   Hong Kong

   At the Third Echelon's secret island lair off Hong Kong, the two are strapped into a rocket and blasted off to a distant planet, where Sinatra and Martin are improbably waiting.
