The 1942 entry, often the fans' favourite, opens with the pair shipwrecked and washed ashore in North Africa. A talking camel, a desert kingdom, a beautiful princess, and a prophecy that her first husband is doomed to die young all conspire against them as they break the fourth wall and sing their way toward Morocco.

   The Shipwreck

   Their freighter blown to bits, Jeff and Turkey wash ashore on the sands of North Africa with nothing but their wits, such as they are.

   The Moroccan Shore

   Ashore at last, and promptly sold into trouble by Turkey, who trades his friend away for a square meal.

   The Desert

   Across the dunes by camel toward a fabled city, the famous song carrying them along.

   Marrakesh

   At the palace, Jeff is to wed Princess Shalmar, until a prophecy reveals her first husband is doomed to an early death.
