Journeys from fiction drawn on the real world

Clive Cussler · 1996 · global

Clive Cussler's 1996 Dirk Pitt adventure. When seals and dolphins begin dying in droves and a cruise ship's passengers are found dead near Antarctica, NUMA's Dirk Pitt traces the plague to a ruthless diamond tycoon whose sound-wave mining is killing the seas. The hunt runs from the ice of Seymour Island to a Canadian mine and across the Pacific to the villain's island fortress near Australia.
