Rick Riordan's five-book sequel series, in which Greek and Roman demigods must unite against the waking earth-goddess Gaea. After separate quests across the United States, from the Grand Canyon to a frozen showdown in Alaska, seven chosen demigods build the Argo II, a flying warship, and sail it east from the Roman camp near San Francisco, across the Atlantic to Rome and on into Greece, chasing the ancient Doors of Death. The voyage runs down the Adriatic and through the Mediterranean to a final battle with the giants, before the ship races home across the ocean to defend New York. Plotted here is that great transatlantic circuit of the Argo II.
