Journeys from fiction drawn on the real world

Stephen King & Peter Straub · 1984 · road

Stephen King and Peter Straub's 1984 fantasy epic. Twelve-year-old Jack Sawyer sets out from Arcadia Beach on the New Hampshire coast on a quest across the whole United States to find the Talisman, the only thing that can save his dying mother. Flipping between our world and the parallel medieval Territories, he crosses the heartland - a brutal boys' home in Indiana, the road with the werewolf Wolf - to the California coast.
