Hampton Sides's 2024 account of Captain Cook's fatal last voyage. The Resolution sails from Plymouth around the Cape to New Zealand, Tahiti and the newly 'discovered' Hawaiian Islands, then north to the fogbound coast of Nootka Sound and the ice of the Bering Strait in search of a Northwest Passage - before turning back to Kealakekua Bay and Cook's violent death.
